"E-CO-FFEE" is a series of multifunctional devices that aspires to encourage the sharing and recycling of used coffee grounds to develop a sustainable coffee consumption system. "E-CO-FFEE" brings together both ends of the consumption behavior: coffee shop owners and customers with an innovative module design of various uses that enables users to make the best of used coffee grounds provided by the shop owners and further on generates a general sense of environmental concern.
"E-CO-FFEE" intends to convey a green thinking in modern society through the embodiment of a lifestyle in harmony with nature.
The recycle process is as follows: used coffee grounds shared by shop owners → taken home by general customers → heated by candles, coffee grounds used as aroma → dried through heating process → dried coffee grounds used as deodorizer and desiccator → moldy coffee grounds used as compost in soil, and back to nature.
